BIOGRAPHY
Venezuelan composer and electric guitarist. Winner of the Municipal Music Award for two consecutive years, the first one was won in 2014 in the mention of Pura Vocal Piece "Augusto Brandt" with the piece "Two love poems by Miguel Hernandez," the second one was won in 2015, this time in the Mention of Chamber Music Piece "Juan Jose Landaeta" by his piece "Ancient peoples" for B flat clarinet, electric guitar, cello and drums.
Pablo Martín the composer.
His compositions are characterized by searching new kinds of timbres through the combination of sound by electrics and acoustics instruments. His music has a great influence of the popular and contemporany music, which makes most of its work a crossover of these two musical worlds.
In his music work we can find a variaty of music genres, languages and instrumental combinations, some of the are common in the chamber music and other are very atypical ensembles such as the one that we can fine in the piece call "Simbiosis" that is a assembly with one cello and five indian instruments of the comunity "wayuu" that are located in Venezuela and Colombia. He has also written for large formats such as symphony orchestra, inside this catalog we can find his concert are for Cuatro and Orchestra "Cuatro Arabesque". In his musical languagewe find a lot rock influences of 80 and 90.
His works have been performed by various ensembles of contemporary music, rock bands, professional orchestras, and children's orchestras, where the last one make him a concert with only composition of him.
Pablo Martín the guitar player.
He has performed and recorded in several projects, among these we find the alternative rock band Invitro where besides being one of the guitarist of the band also played the role of arrangers, here was where he made his first recording, we also have the band Hevy metal "Ritual sagrado" here recording the guitar solos in the first album of this band, he is currently founder, guitarist and songwriter of the rock band Alpha Dogs which that al redy carries two musical productions.
Music education.
He began his musical studies with Facundo Coral in the electric guitar subsequently began his music education in conservatorio Lino Gallardo, Jose Reyna and Simon Bolivar in Caracas. Obtains his degree in Composition at the Experimental University of the Arts under the professor Federico Ruiz, then he made his master's degree in composition at the Simon Bolivar University, under the tutelage of Emilio Mendoza. He has completed numerous courses in composition, among these are: ViaMusica Festival in Belgium, Summer School of Music Composer`s Workshop in England.
